VCF Mestalla will fight for a spot in the Premier League International Cup final. The second team will travel on Tuesday to England and will spend the night there before playing the semifinals against Crystal Palace FC on Wedesday. The U21 competition has seen 12 teams from the Premier League y 12 teams from countries from Spain, Germany, Portugal, France, the Netherlands and Scotland among others.

"We know what kind of teams we are going to meet and we are going there to try to win the game and get into the final, which is something we are very excited about," said Miguel Ángel Angulo.
The VCF Mestalla coach highlights the growth that the B team has had in this international competition in which they have faced several U21 Premier League rivals in England.
"This competition has helped us a lot during the season, and it is also an opportunity for players who have not had so many minutes to show their level," said the Asturian.

Unbeaten
The semi-finals of the Premier League International Cup will be played as a single match in London, at Selhurst Park, a 26,000-capacity stadium inaugurated in 1924 where Crystal Palace usually play their Premier League matches.
VCF Mestalla reached the semi-finals after going unbeaten in the competition and winning against Brighton and Hove Albion 2-3 in the quarter-finals - and after having come out of the group stage as first classified with 3 wins against Leicester City (0-2), Wolverhampton FC (0-1) and Blackburn Rovers (0-2) and a draw against Fulham FC (0-0) - while Crystal Palace FC have eliminated Liverpool FC 1-2 in the quarter-finals. PSV Eindhoven awaits in the final.
